The MakeHuman Modelling Measure Subtab


The measure subtab enables you to dive into the measurements of of your models body and make fine adjustments to suit exactly what you might want. When in this subtab you will have four menus available. On the left will be the available sliders for the category currently selected. On the right you have the category menu with selectable radials for your models body parts and below that are the models statistics so you can track overall model changes as you make specific alterations. Along the bottom of the screen is a data overview of your model.

The sliders in this submenu function in the same way as the rest of the default sliders, you may notice you are able to type in a desired measurement, this however will not adjust the slider unless you hit the enter key. Even still it will not alter the model unless you left click on the slider indicator, which will cause it to move slightly unless you manage to click directly in the centre of the indicator. The scroll wheel will also move the indicator but it will have no effect on the measurement box or the indicator as of yet. 

Categories

Neck

In the neck category you can make changes to the circumference and height of the neck with the Neck Circumference and Neck Height sliders.

Upper Arm

In the upper arm category you will find the Upper Arm Circumference and Upper Arm Length sliders.

Lower Arm

The lower arm category contains the Lower Arm Length and Wrist Circumference sliders.

Torso

Assigned to the torso category you will have the Front Chest Distance, Bust Circumference, Under Bust Circumference, Waist Circumference, Nape to Waist, Waist to Hip and Shoulder Distance sliders.

Hips

The hips category contains only the Hips Circumference slider. 

Upper Leg

In the upper leg category are the Upper Leg Height and Thigh Circumference sliders.

Knee

The Knee category has the Knee Circumference slider.

Lower Leg

The lower leg category houses the Lower Leg Height and Calf Circumference sliders.

Ankle

The ankle category possesses only the Ankle Circumference slider.

As you activate each slider you will notice a measuring aid appear on your model to help you understand where and what changes are being made to your model.
