The MakeHuman Pose Animate Tab

The Pose/Animate tab contains the Skeleton, Pose and Expression subtabs. The Skeleton subtab is important if you are going to export your model to third party software such as blender for the purpose of animation or custom posing. Both the pose and expression subtabs will allow you to place your model in predefined poses and facial expressions to render inside of MakeHuman. You can also export your model with these poses and expressions applied.

Subtabs

Skeleton

The skeleton subtab contains four menus, three on the left and one on the right. On the left you will see the Tag filter, Rig Info and Description menus, to the right is the Rig Presets menu. The tag filter menu will allow you to filter the rigs available in the right hand menu by selecting and deselecting radials, the Rig Info menu will show you how many bones each rig contains and the description menu describes the selected rig. The right hand menu is where you can apply a rig by left clicking on it, you can only have one rig active at a time.

Pose

The pose subtab contains a tag filter menu to the left and a pose menu to the right. Only one pose from the right menu can be applied at a time and more poses can be downloaded from the MakeHuman community. All poses do not play well with all clothes. If you apply a pose have a good look at your model prior to render.

Expressions

The expressions subtab also opens a tag filter menu to the left and an expressions menu to the right. Again you can download expressions from the MakeHuman community, as with poses some expressions may not play nice with your model. You can only activate one expression at a time by left clicking on it in the expression menu.
